Saving Bees With Andrew Liang

Who Am I?

I am a senior at The Harker School in San Jose, California. More than that, I'm a beekeeper and student researcher dedicated to using my skills to help protect bee populations. In 2023, my bee research qualified me as a finalist at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world's largest high school science competition. In 2024, the project earned the USA Gold Medal in the S.-T.  Yau High School Science Award, advancing to the Global Final. I have also been taking care of the hives in my backyard for three years, and I'm very involved in other efforts to raise awareness about the importance of bees and promote beekeeping for a more sustainable future.
